Hot Chocolate

A delicious warming hot chocolate with a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients
- 1/4 water
- 1 cup of milk of choice
- 1 table spoon cacao
- 1 table spoon maple syrup (can add more if you like it sweeter)
- 2 tspn cinnamon powder or 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 tspn of vanilla extract or 1 vanilla pod
- 1 tspn of Maca powder (optional)
Instructions
- Place cacao and water into a pan and mix until cacao has dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and stir over a low heat for at least 5 minutes.
Notes
- A couple of other nice additions for adults - a sprinkle of chilli and a teaspoon of ginger powder.
- Why is it healthy?
- Cacao - high in antioxidants, magnesium and iron
- Maca - full of vitamins for immune and general health, regulates energy function.
- Cinnamon - immune enhancing properties
