Cacao and chia caramel cups

Bite size sweet treat without the guilt

Ingredients
- Raw cacao and chia caramel cups
- Base;
- 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1 cup of coconut
- 6 dates
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- Caramel filling;
- 10 dates soaked
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons cup of tahini
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons Bioglan coconut powder (optional) mixed with 1/4 cup hot water.
- 1/2 tspn vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- Topping;
- 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- These are super sweet so I usually make these in mini tart or mini muffin tins (bite size serves).
- Soak dates, chia seeds with coconut powder and hot water mix.
- Place ingredients for base in food processor and mix until well combined.
- Press into tart tins and place in fridge
- Combine all ingredients for caramel and mix until smooth.
- Spoon thin layer into tart tins over the base.
- Combine ingredients for topping in small pan over a low heat. Stir until coconut oil is melted and ingredients are well combined.
- Pour layer over the top of each tart and place in fridge to set for at least an hour.
